The Department of General Management, under the School of Management and Entrepreneurship offers courses in the strategic areas of business: intellectual property rights (IPRs), communications, ethics and business law. Raising awareness on these important aspects of business, is the raison d’être of this department. It offers some very contemporary electives such as Management of Intellectual Property Rights, Creativity and Innovation, offering insights to deal with wide range of issues and challenges that most firms/organizations are grappling with currently. The department aims to train the management students for moving from mastery of one area to a broader business leadership role.
