Prof. Naidu has worked on ‘Managing buyer-seller relationships in contract farming’ for his thesis during Fellow Programme at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). He has presented a number of papers in international symposiums abroad and numerous papers in international and national conferences in India. He was awarded with University Gold Medal for highest grade point average in graduation. At IRMA, Sudarshan has worked on a major national level research project ‘The State of Panchayats’ sponsored by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Govt of India. His work on Gambhira collective is popular and finds a mention in the final report of the Twelfth Five Year plan working group of Planning commission on ‘Disadvantaged farmers including women’.

Teaching Interests
Prof. Naidu’s research interests include relationship marketing, BoP marketing, customer experience management, agribusiness, managing collectives, and local governance. Currently, he is working on managing buyer-seller relationships and marketing challenges of not-for-profit organizations.
