Sajal Kumar Ghosh did his Ph. D from Raman Research Institute, Bangalore, India. There after he joined as a post-doctoral scientist in the Institute for X-ray Physics, University of Goettingen, Germany. Then he moved to the University of California-San Diego (UCSD), California, USA to work as a post-doctoral scholar. Sajal has research experience in the field of soft matter physics including bio-physics. He has presented his research works in many international conferences in India, Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, UK and USA. His present interests are in i) tuning viscoelastic properties of soft materials by altering the self-assembled aggregates, ii) developing simple model systems to facilitate physical and chemical studies of bio-systems, iii) developing devices which are useful for drug delivery, bio-sensing, non-destructive molecule counter etc. using nanotechnologies.
