I'm a finance faculty broadly trying to understand anything related to finance, though with a limited focus on teaching and an even narrower focus on current research interests. Recently, I re-invented my interest and focus on Corporate financial reports, reporting practices and governance mechanisms.

In addition, I do have a common man's interest in political economics, Ancient Indian history and philosophy.

I am broadly interested in topics related to financial reporting and corporate financing. My current work includes (a) examining the impact of legal and regulatory environment on the IPO market (b) Performance evaluation and survival analysis of venture capital backed IPOs and (c) Financial reporting practices and earnings quality of IPOs in India.
