Isospectral Hamiltonians for potentials having rotational symmetry in N dimensions

A ladder-operator technique for generating isospectral Hamiltonians is presented. The most attractive feature of the scheme is that the results are obtained without any specific realization of the ladder operators. The method is applied to the N-dimensional Coulomb and isotropic oscillator problems. Few new results are presented in addition to those obtained using supersymmetric quantum mechanics. © 1988 The American Physical Society.
