Abstract
The reaction between methylenechlorophosphine-pentacarbonyltungsten and an isobenzofuran affords a [4 + 2] adduct whose oxygen bridge is broken by BBr 3, leading to a 2-phosphanaphthalene. ©2012 American Chemical Society.
